Thanks for considering being part of the Alpha Team! We're a little biased, but we think this is one of the most fun places to serve others, with others. And as part of the Team, you get to play a role in creating a warm, welcoming, and meaningful experience for all of our guests. All of that, so that they might encounter Jesus.

Each Alpha evening session includes a meal, a short video talk, and a time of open discussion based on that night's topic. But their experience starts at the front door, and depends on people like you to help the leave at the end of the night feeling motivated to return again next week.

So take a look at the team descriptions below and select the team you would like to serve in. Whatever your individual gifts, passions and talents are, you can use them to serve alongside others in the body of Christ.

Alpha Team Roles:

• Welcome Team - The greeters and registration table will usually be the first people that guests meet. We're looking for a friendly smile and people who love connecting.
• Setup & Teardown Team - We need those who are available to come a bit earlier for set up and who can stick around to do clean up afterwards. This team is so vital in making our evenings work - we need you!
• Food Team - Each Alpha session will have hot catered food. This means we need servers and volunteers to prep the Hub (kitchen) before and after.
• Table Hosts - Keeps the conversation rolling and makes sure that guests feel safe to share openly. This role is not about teaching. Instead, it requires someone who is a good listener, encourager, and who is sensitive to the needs of others.
• Table Helpers - Provide support to Hosts by praying silently, and affirming and encouraging guests throughout the weeks. There is a Team Training video about 'Small Groups' that will explain more about this.

Please carefully consider the following weekly commitment and training online: 

• 10 week commitment (October 10th-December 10th) every Thursday evening 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
• One training session - October 3rd
• Alpha Retreat - November 15th - 17th (for Alpha Table leaders)
