GC resources

As we pursue life in Community under the Lordship of Jesus, we face a variety of situations, challenges, and opportunities. The following resources have been created and curated to help you and those around you navigate whatever comes up. This resource page is just one way we’re helping you to be devoted to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayers (Acts 2:42). Communion Instructions

"And they were devoted to... the breaking of bread." (Acts 2:42)

Step 1: Divide up the cups and the bread, ensuring everyone who needs some has received it.

Step 2: Slow down, pause, and then read 1 Corinthians 11:23-24. Then eat the bread.

Step 3: Read 1 Corinthians 11:25-26. Then drink the juice.

Step 4: Pray

Things to Consider:

If there are any unconfessed or repeated sins, offenses or unforgiveness, please let the elements pass - and bring those to the Lord in private prayer while the group partakes together.

  • Confess and take an actionable step this week towards reconciliation.
  • Share this actionable step with one person before the end of the day.
